Attention, danger!
All computer users know that modern PCs are exposed to a lot of dangers when they are on. And while there is a serious fight constantly going on with some of them (for instance, viruses and remote hacker attacks), other threats remain aside and unnoticed. But it does not make them less dangerous! An excessive increase in the temperature of some components inside the computer case can serve as a good example of it.
In particular, components exposed to danger include processors, video cards and ... hard drives. And if specialists constantly monitor video cards and processors installing special cooling systems, many of them forget about hard drives. At the same time, it is barely possible to underestimate the importance of a hard drive. It is hard drives where all information is stored on most computers. And a failure in the work of a hard drive can become a real catastrophe in some cases: documents , accounting data and other vital information can be lost forever. And creating a backup will not help in this case because the backup copy will be also destroyed. By the way, it should be mentioned that the described situation is far from being unreal. Hard drive manufacturers themselves admit that an increase in the temperature of their devices from 45°C to 55°C makes these devices twice (!) less reliable.
What to do?
The answer to this global question is simple in our case. You should constantly monitor the current temperature of your hard drive and act fast (even switch the system to the hibernation mode) in respond to potentially dangerous situations. And to do it, you need special software tools that can obtain information from the hardware sensors of hard drives, process this information and present it to you in a convenient way. For example, you can find such a utility here.
But all available software that allows the current temperature of hard drives to be constantly monitored is not very suitable for corporate clients. The problem lies in the following. In any company there is one employee who is responsible for the network and computers - it is a system administrator. Other users are not even supposed to pay any attention to or waste their working time on technical issues related to PC maintenance. Our development called HDD Temperature Enterprise™ makes it all possible.
Key features of HDD Temperature Enterprise™:
The administrator can work without leaving his place. The utility allows the administrator to do the job (installation, configuration, constant monitoring) on all network computers right from his PC, which saves him a lot of time.
- The utility runs invisibly to the user. The program runs as a service. It means that it does not disclose itself to computer users and communicates only with the administrator.
Full-featured notification system. The program features a powerful system for notification about potentially dangerous events. It can send messages over the network, by e-mail or to the administrator's pager.
- Demo version availability. It is possible to try the utility before buying it in order to evaluate its performance and usability.
Flexible licensing policy The cost of the entire monitoring system depends on the number of hard drives, which allows small companies to avoid overpaying for it during the purchase and large companies to get considerable discounts.
- you can find the full list of features here.

how program licensed and how much does it cost.
HDD Temperature Enterprise™ are licensed on per-hard-drive basis. This means, what for example, 50 license pack allows you to control temperature of 50 hard drives. You can ask, what to do with old, failed drives – when can flush database and your license. For this situation we add feature “remove old drives” – you can remove hard drives not refreshed, for example, more than 2 months.
Licenses will be in 10, 50, 100 and 500 license packs.
