Works without administrator permissions
It is one of the most important features for corporate users. The
main part of Hard Drive Temperature™ is implemented as a system
service, which allows it to work even under a user with restricted
permissions! At the same time only the administrator can install,
remove or configure the software.
Works invisibly to the user
Due to the fact that the Hard Drive Temperature™ e functions
as a system service
, the user does not see any signs of the software
functioning on his computer – it is completely invisible
to him. The administrator can receive messages about failures directly
to his computer.
Supports hibernation
In case the critical temperature of the hard
drive is exceeded, the system immediately hibernates while all
its RAM contents are saved to the hard disk .
Sends network messages about hard drive overheating
All messages
about exceeding the maximum temperature can be sent directly to
the administrator's computer specifying the computer name, its
hard drive model and its temperature.
Sends e-mail messages about hard drive overheating
E- mail can
be also used for that purpose. Hard Drive Temperature™ can connect to the SMTP server that you specify and send an e-mail
message about hard drive overheating. It allows you to use HDD Temperature
even in remote offices including those behind firewalls.
Multilingual interface
The Hard Drive Temperature™ interface is translated
into 5 languages and several more languages are under development.
Automatic configuration
Using Windows logon scripts, Hard Drive Temperature™ can be configured similarly on all computers on your network directly
from the administrator's workstation.
Automatic installation
Using the offered Hard Drive Temperature™ installation
options, network administrators can install the software on all
network computers at a time.
